Overview
The application fee is for the application of a well licence for the purpose of exploring for oil and natural gas. The amendment fee is for an amendment of an existing valid well licence.
Eligibility
Any person/company holding a valid Licence to Search or Lease under the Oil and Natural Gas Act. Form to be submitted in duplicate at least 14 days prior to the desired spud date and accompanied by the required fee, deposit, agreement with the owner of the surface rights, and survey plan, and applicant must be in compliance with the regulations under the Oil and Natural Gas Act.
Description
A well for exploration and/or production purposes for oil and natural gas requires a valid well licence.
