FREDERICTON (GNB) – The Department of Natural Resources is advising persons who received confirmation online that they were successful in this year's moose licence draw but did not receive a follow-up confirmation letter to contact the department immediately.
Due to a computer glitch, some applicants who were successful in obtaining a moose licence in 2011 and who checked online the results of this year's draw on July 10-11 may have received a false confirmation.
Successful applicants were mailed a letter confirming they were drawn for this year's hunt. Anyone who received a confirmation online that they were successful but did not receive a letter should immediately contact the department’s Fish and Wildlife Branch, 506-453-7442.
