Overview
All pesticides used in New Brunswick must be registered by Health Canada. Any individual or business wishing to apply pesticides by ground, by air, to water or for research purposes is required to obtain a Permit authorizing the application. Requirements for pesticide permits vary with the type of work to be conducted. Please contact the Pesticide Program Officer for Pesticide Permit requirements.
Eligibility
Any individual or business who apply pesticides in the following situations: by ground for fee or reward, by air, to water, or for research purposes.
Description
Department staff review application packages and draft permits in accordance with legislation. Staff maintain regular communication with clients and conduct routine inspections to verify compliance.
