Monique Poirier loves everything about tourism and cultural experiences in her province! She's thrilled to be joining the NB Day Celebrations team again this year.
In addition to being a singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and speaker, Monique is co-executive director and artistic director of Le Pays de la Sagouine in Bouctouche and a founding member of the TROISELLE vocal ensemble.
Monique was a member of the ODE À L'ACADIE production that played all over la Francophonie internationale from 2004 to 2011. She was a member of the vocal quartet LES MUSES, and has been part of the musical productions NOEL AVEC LES MUSES, BELIVO and ROLAND GAUVIN for over 20 years.
With her partner, musician and musical director François Émond, she founded Les Productions du Pilier, offering artistic and musical direction and sound recording services.
Monique and François have two sons, Olivier and Louis, and live in Notre-Dame-de-Kent.
