FREDERICTON (GNB) – New Brunswickers are encouraged to “do winter right” as they unwind with family and friends during the holidays.

By exploring what the province has to offer, even close to home, New Brunswickers can contribute to job creation, local business development and the tourism industry.

Tourism is an important economic driver and job provider. As of August 2015, the industry employed 42,100 people in New Brunswick, which was an increase of 3,200 over the previous year. Tourism also contributes $522 million annually to the provincial GDP. In 2015, for every public dollar spent on marketing the province, there was a return of $3.19.

Discover the ways to do winter right in New Brunswick by visiting the Tourism New Brunswick website.
