BERTRAND (GNB) – Village Historique Acadien is offering an opportunity for the public to ride their bicycles along the village's trails on Sunday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For the first time cyclists will be able to ride safely along the 2.5 kilometers of trails. They will also have the opportunity to learn the basics of proper bike maintenance with experts from Intersport and find out more about safety, clothing, and diet from representatives of Véloroute de la Péninsule acadienne.

Visitors may bring a picnic since the Poirier Post House will be open for the event.

Those interested can leave their vehicles in the village's parking lot or else go directly to the historical site on the bicycle path from Bertrand (the exit is located near the roundabout, 3.6 kilometers from the historical site).

This free activity is being presented in partnership with the Village of Bertrand.
