FREDERICTON (GNB) – Volleyball NB has announced the male and female beach volleyball team that will represent the province at the 2013 Canada Summer Games.
The members of the men’s team are:
● Stephane Fontaine of Fredericton; and
● Jason Cannon of Fredericton.
The members of the women’s team are:
● Judith Desjardins of Fredericton; and
● Brittan Robinson of Fredericton.
The coach of the men’s team is Jeff Rand of Moncton. The coach of the women’s team is Henri Mallet of Fredericton.
Beach volleyball competitions will be held during the second week of the 2013 Canada Summer Games, to be held Aug. 2-17 in Sherbrooke, Que. The Games will bring together 4,200 athletes to compete in 20 disciplines at 20 sites. Team New Brunswick will consist of 415 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff.
