FREDERICTON (GNB) – Velo NB has announced the names of the seven cyclists selected to represent New Brunswick's road cycling team at the Canada Summer Games.

The women's team has two members:

●    Julia Cormier of Hanwell; and
●    Natalie Cormier of Memramcook.

The men's team has five members:

●    Devin Doiron of Rogersville;
●    Marc Evers of Dieppe;
●    Julien Roussel of Dieppe;
●    Neil Symington of Sussex; and
●    Stuart Wight of Riverview.

Alternates for the men's team are Justin Mallet of Dieppe and Alex Cormier of Dieppe.

The coach is Jean-Guy Cormier of Hanwell. The manager is Sheila Colbourne of Riverview. The mechanic is Shawn Marshall of Salisbury.

Cycling competitions will be held during the second week of the 2013 Canada Summer Games, to be held Aug. 2-17 in Sherbrooke, Que. The Games will bring together 4,200 athletes to compete in 20 disciplines at 20 sites. Team New Brunswick will consist of 415 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff.
