FREDERICTON (GNB) – Volleyball NB has announced the members of the women's volleyball team that will represent the province at the 2013 Canada Summer Games.

The team members are:

●    Amy Appleby – Fredericton;
●    Christelle Bertin – Petit-Rocher;
●    Emily Cronkhite – Fredericton;
●    Marika deWinter – Sussex;
●    Janie-Eve Doucet – Allardville;
●    Victoria Eadle – Moncton;
●    Katherine Houser – Moncton;
●    Laura Kaye – Fredericton;
●    Annie LeBlanc – Shediac;
●    Sarah Meehan – Sussex;
●    Erin Smith – Moncton; and
●    Gabrielle Violette – Grand Falls.

The head coach is Jilliane Goulet of New Maryland. The assistant coach is Mike Swift of Sussex. The team manager is Michelle Gallagher of Durham Bridge

Women's volleyball competitions will be held during the first week of the 2013 Canada Summer Games, to be held Aug. 2-17 in Sherbrooke, Que. The Games will bring together 4,200 athletes to compete in 20 disciplines at 20 sites. Team New Brunswick will consist of 415 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff.
