FREDERICTON (GNB) – Baseball NB has announced the members of the baseball team that will represent the province at the 2013 Canada Summer Games.

The team members are:

●    Bailey Huber – Moncton;
●    Ben Richard – Quispamsis;
●    Blake Gallagher – Wassis;
●    Brett Brittnay – McLeod Hill;
●    Chris Kelly – Miramichi;
●    Chris Thomas – Fredericton;
●    Corey Kavanagh – Fredericton;
●    Corey Ouellette – Fredericton;
●    Jake Cook – Miramichi;
●    Kyle Donahoe – Riverview;
●    Leeam Young – Miramichi;
●    Luc Hébert – Moncton;
●    Mitchell Hazlett – Riverview;
●    Nick Gaudet – Charters Settlement
●    Ryan Bartley – Moncton;
●    Ryan Dickson – Miramichi;
●    Ryan Van Snick – Baxters Corner;
●    Sam Lund – Riverview;
●    Shawn Bartley – Moncton; and
●    Thomas Duffy – Miramichi.

The head coach is Mark Noel of Miramichi. The assistant coaches are B.J. Young of Miramichi and Gerry LeBlanc of Moncton.

Baseball competitions will be held during the first week of the 2013 Canada Summer Games, to be held Aug. 2-17 in Sherbrooke, Que., The Games will bring together 4,200 athletes to compete in 20 disciplines at 20 sites. Team New Brunswick will consist of 415 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff.
