FREDERICTON (CNB) - The following message in recognition of Senior's Month was issued by Social Development Minister Sue Stultz, who is also minister responsible for seniors, housing and community non-profit organizations:

June is Seniors' Month, an occasion for all New Brunswickers to recognize and value the contribution made by seniors every day in communities across our province.  

Senior care is a government priority and a responsibility that we take seriously.  

To celebrate the role that seniors have played in shaping our cultural fabric and making our province the great place it is; various communities will be hosting recognition events.

I encourage all New Brunswickers to participate in these activities.
