SAINT JOHN (CNB) – The provincial government is making an investment to renovate the Carleton Curling Club in Saint John.

“Ensuring that we have good recreational facilities will help improve the quality of life for city and area residents, strengthen our communities, and help us keep more of our young people home,” said Supply and Services Minister Ed Doherty.

He made the announcement on behalf of Business New Brunswick Minister Victor Boudreau, who is also the minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.

The provincial government is making an investment of $25,000 through the Regional Development Corporation to help defray the costs of roof replacement, water recovery/recycling system and other repairs.
