PORT ELGIN (CNB) – The provincial government is investing in infrastructure improvements at the Port Elgin Raceway.
 
Premier Shawn Graham and Terence Oulton, president of the Botsford and Westmorland Agricultural Society, took part in the announcement.

“This is an important community infrastructure project for Port Elgin and the southeastern region of New Brunswick,” said Graham. “Our investment will help generate employment and tourism, which are key to growing our economy and bringing our kids back home to New Brunswick.”
 
The provincial government is investing $75,000 in improvements to the Botsford and Westmorland Agricultural Society's exhibition grounds. The project includes: upgrading the sewer system, installing chain-link fencing and repairing wooden fencing.
