FREDERICTON (GNB) – Premier Blaine Higgs issued the following holiday message today:
On behalf of Marcia and my family, I wish all New Brunswickers a Merry Christmas.
The holidays provide the perfect opportunity to gather with our loved ones to participate in family traditions, share in the joy of the season, and reflect upon how fortunate we are to live in our beautiful province.
We have a lot to be thankful for here, and it is important that we take the time to count our blessings. New Brunswickers are known for their consistent kindness and compassion, but this time of year I encourage everyone to go the extra mile. We can all seek out ways to help our friends and neighbours in need by donating time, money or food, or by simply participating in a random act of kindness to brighten someone’s day.
As the end of another year draws close, we can look back at all we have accomplished in 2019, while looking forward to the great things yet to come.
May the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts and homes with peace and joy this season and throughout the new year.
