FREDERICTON (GNB) – The provincial government has signed a new collective agreement with the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees representing the Education Instructional Group, a group of 33 employees at the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour.

“I congratulate the entire negotiating team on arriving at this new four-year collective agreement,” said Human Resources Minister Troy Lifford. “I also thank these employees who provide valuable educational guidance to emerging craftspeople, artists and designers at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.”

This collective agreement provides for two years of zero-per-cent increases, followed by one-per-cent increases every six months.
