FREDERICTON (CNB) - Justice and Consumer Affairs Minister Bernard LeBlanc, who is also minister responsible for public engagement, today released the following statement in response to Roundtable NB 2026's announcement that it will sponsor an extensive public engagement initiative:
Involving New Brunswickers in the definition of our province's culture of learning is key to developing a clear goal that we can all work towards.
Roundtable NB 2026 is to be commended for their vision and willingness to sponsor such an extensive process, independent of government.
As minister responsible for Public Engagement, I am looking forward to working with Roundtable NB 2026 - as well as other citizen, community and stakeholder groups - to achieve our shared goals and find real, made-in-New Brunswick solutions to complex, societal challenges like this one.
