FREDERICTON (GNB) – The provincial government has reached a tentative collective agreement with the Instructional group represented by the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees.

“We have been working hard to reach an agreement with this group representing instructors at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design,” said Treasury Board President Roger Melanson. “Education is one of our government’s three key priorities; therefore we are especially pleased to have reached this tentative agreement today.”

The agreement includes about 30 instructors at the college. The parties have agreed to withhold details until a ratification vote is held.

Since October 2014, the provincial government has reached collective agreements with 23 union groups.
