FREDERICTON (CNB) - Finance Minister Blaine Higgs is encouraging households who have been selected to complete Statistics Canada's National Household Survey to participate.

One in three households across New Brunswick will receive the survey. Responses will be kept confidential.

"The information collected by the National Household Survey is essential to the province and to our communities in planning and developing services such as those in health care, education, transportation and housing,” Higgs said. “It is imperative that we have accurate information so that important decisions affecting New Brunswickers can be made. I thank everyone who has already completed the survey and encourage receiving households to participate.”
