FREDERICTON (GNB) – Energy and Resource Development Minister Rick Doucet wishes moose hunters a safe and successful season as the annual hunt begins Tuesday, Sept. 20.

“Moose hunting is a fall tradition,” said Doucet. “I am pleased to see it remains a popular activity for New Brunswickers of all ages. I encourage everyone who obtained a licence to practice safety in the woods and enjoy a great season.”

This year, 4,643 moose licences were issued through a draw from more than 61,000 applications.
