FREDERICTON (GNB) – As the 2012 recreational fishing season winds down, anglers are reminded to complete and submit their fishing survey.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and can be submitted online or by filling out the postage-paid card that is found in the centre of the Fish 2012 regulations booklet.

By completing and submitting the card to the Department of Natural Resources, anglers are providing valuable data to help fisheries managers monitor fish populations throughout the province.

Anglers who complete and submit the survey will be eligible for a number of prizes being offered jointly by the department and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. These include high-quality fishing rod packages and free licences for the 2013 angling season.
