FREDERICTON (CNB) - Repairs will begin on Monday, July 12, to parts of the NB Trail between Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock. The repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, July 30.

Two sites are under repair:

  • the Odell River Trail bridge, 14 km south of Plaster Rock; and
  • the Trout Brook Trail bridge, 20 km south of Plaster Rock.

These structures - crucial links for snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle routes - may be closed while being repaired.

The repairs are part of the Department of Natural Resources' $1.9-million capital funding for NB Trail maintenance in fiscal 2010-11.
