FREDERICTON – The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is advising motorists to continue to exercise caution as snow-clearing operations continue.

All no-travel advisories have been lifted.

Drifting snow is expected to continue through the night in coastal and open areas.

Conditions are expected to be back to normal by morning.

During winter storms, low visibility and poor road conditions make it advisable to avoid travel whenever possible and allow emergency vehicles, first responders and DTI authorized employees to operate unimpeded.

Motorists are encouraged to call 511 or visit 511.gnb.ca for road condition updates and winter driving safety tips. Those outside of New Brunswick can call 1-800-561-4063.

Residents are also reminded that it is illegal to dump snow on highways in New Brunswick.
